J.C. and Linda Skidmore, Owners J.C. and Linda Skidmore live in Crown Point, Indiana. They have been married for more than 32 years and are the parents of Joshua and Jennifer. When they are not traveling with Transfer Smart, J.C. loves to hunt and fish and Linda sings professionally with a trio called String of Pearls. They met while attending Bible college in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was truly love at first sight as J.C. told Linda the night he met her that he would be asking for her hand in marriage the following week! One week later he proposed, Linda said "Yes!" and they have been married for more than three decades! As former timeshare owners, they understand the frustrations many of their clients have experienced. Working together as a team, they are very passionate about the service they provide. "At the core of who we are," said JC, "Linda and I derive great satisfaction in helping others. At the end of the day, one must give an accounting of how they spent their time. We know our time spent serving clients with Transfer Smart is worthy of our best efforts."
Joshua Skidmore, Consumer Advisor Joshua Skidmore has put his Communications and Marketing degree from Valparaiso University to good use in more ways than one in his life so far. Before joining the Transfer Smart Team, Joshua was an All-American Football Player on the 1st Team All-American Football Team at VU. His professional career started with an exciting job at 92KISS FM, Chicago. His role with their Promotions Department allowed him to take full advantage of his education as well as providing him with a lively work environment when he would broadcast from local nightclubs. For the past four years, Joshua was a Principal Fine Art Auctioneer at the largest privately owned art gallery in the US, regularly selling masterpieces by famed artists such as Picasso, Rembrandt, and Dali. Even though he keeps busy helping the increasing numbers of distressed timeshare owners escape their timeshare contracts as an Consumer Advisor with the Field Team, Joshua is also a continuously active member of the National Association of Auctioneers and the Florida Board of Auctioneers which continues to motivate him in his goal of starting his own Auction Company in the near future.
Kourtnee Lytle Skidmore, Consumer Advisor Kourtnee Lytle is a determined woman who can make great things happen and she has come to us following an eclectic history of educational pursuits and professional careers. Kourtnee has a genuine concern and affinity for animals and worked for many years in the animal care industry. Her natural tendency to care for animals is the basis for her future aspirations of working with an animal rescue program. Her ability to get things done meant she graduated in only two years from her Las Vegas high school and then immediately enrolled at the Culinary Institute of Las Vegas. After college she took a position as Personal Assistant to Pete Rose, another role that put her "make it happen" attitude to work. Now that she's joined the family here at Transfer Smart, Kourtnee can put her skills and talents to work as an Consumer Advisor for our Internet Sales Department where she sees the benefit of continuing to help people in need with a genuine service.
Dianna Walls, Consumer Advisor Dianna Walls is a devoted mother of three and a deeply family-oriented individual. As a recent family member of the Transfer Smart Internet Sales division, she s greatly appreciated and already proven to be tremendously successful. As a former timeshare owner herself, Dianna attended a Transfer Smart seminar and is excited to be in a position to help other distressed timeshare owners out of what she describes as a hopeless and financially draining situation. Outside of her role at Transfer Smart, Dianna also has a heart for volunteering in her community with organizations that contribute to the local schools and churches. Currently she leads a youth group for middle school girls at her church as well as devoting time to helping special needs children.
EV Guerra, Consumer Advisor EV Guerra is one of our presenters here at Transfer Smart, having joined the team in August, 2009. EV was born and raised in Santa Monica, California, and currently lives in Norco, California. She has always been a people person, and all of her past jobs have involved working with the public. Before working for Transfer Smart, EV managed a large jewelry chain for 12 years, opened her own jewelry store in Southern California, and spent the past year working with another transfer company helping families transfer out their timeshares. Indeed, EV’s favorite part of her current job is the great people that she gets to meet. In her spare time, EV loves spending time with her friends, her husband of 20 years, Luis, and with the newest addition to their family, a two-month-old German shepherd.
Chris Bodig, Consumer Advisor Chris is one of our presenters here at Transfer Smart. Chris was born in New York City and raised in New York and northern Connecticut, and he earned his B.A. from Yale in 1989. Chris has an eclectic career background which, in addition to over five years helping thousands of families get out of their timeshares, also includes having been a former Emmy-Award winning producer for ESPN, responsible for such shows as “SportsCenter,” “Baseball Tonight,” and “Up Close.” In his spare time, Chris enjoys golf and cycling, and he has a keen interest in politics. He has also done a lot of choral singing, having performed in six different countries in Europe and the Lincoln Center in New York.
Tony Espinoza, Consumer Advisor Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso, Tony brings over 25 years of sales experience and priceless insight acquired as a successful business owner to Transfer Smart. In his free time, Tony enjoys playing golf and relaxing with his wife, Roxanne, and their four kids at their home in La Quinta, California.
Sam & Telma Friedberg, Consumer Advisors Sam and Telma Friedberg were recently married, on February 17th, 2007. They have been living in Chandler, Arizona since 2004. Prior to working with Transfer Smart, Sam was an engineer, with degrees from M.I.T. and the University of Southern California. Telma was a customer service specialist with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. When they are not working, Sam and Telma enjoy spending time with their 9 year old son, David. Telma does volunteer work at David's elementary school, and Sam recently began taking the same jiu-jitsu class that David is taking, so they can practice together (David's younger body gets less sore than Sam's). In 2006, Telma trained and raised money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation 3-Day Walk, to help fight breast cancer.
Bill Bunning, Consumer Advisor Bill Bunning may have only recently joined Transfer Smart but he is no stranger to the timeshare and real estate industries. For 30 years, Bill worked in the Recreational Real Estate business; which included serving as a Member of the American Resort Development Association's Board of Directors and as President of the Virginia Resort Developers Association. On top of having an immense amount of real estate experience, Bill has dedicated the past 10 years to assisting individuals and families out of their unwanted timeshare contracts. He is also an active member of the South Warren Ruritan Club, a community service organization, and travels to an orphanage in Chelyabinsk, Russia most summers where he volunteers his time. It is this commitment to helping others along with his professional experience and knowledge that makes Bill a fantastic new addition to the Transfer Smart Team. Bill currently lives in Front Royal, Virginia and has two amazing children, Tamara and Billy. His hobbies include skiing with his son, horseback riding with his daughter, and playing catch with his three dogs.
Susan Engle, Consumer Advisor Susan Engle was born and raised in the New Jersey and New York areas. Her family headed west during her youth, staying in New Mexico while she finished high school. She and a childhood friend took time after graduation to travel for several months throughout Europe and the Middle East, staying for a time on a Kibbutz in Israel, before enrolling at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her college graduation saw her move again, this time to Northern California to rejoin her family, and continue the family tradition of succeeding at a career in the automotive industry. Her excellence in leadership, customer service skills and financial consulting allowed her to work for the finest automotive companies, and further increased her business acumen. Her interest in other business fields sent her back to school, where she earned her Master's degree in Accounting from San Diego State University while raising her son. She passed along her passion for automobiles to her son and he has since begun his career in racing go-karts on a professional level. Before joining the Transfer Smart family as a field representative, Susan worked in mortgage lending, spending many years helping people to make solid financial decisions; experience and wisdom which she readily shares with others.
Jeff Warner, Consumer Advisor Without question, Jeff Warner is a resilient and courageous person with an unflinching and steadfast "go get 'em" attitude. This comes from years of experience in leadership roles such as leading his Marine Corps Platoon during the initial amphibious landing in Mogadishu, Somalia in December of 1992, as well as creating and leading the First Year Financial Advisor training program at American Express. So far, he has spent almost his entire life as a resident of Southern California and this long term coastal residency has manifested in his profound love and appreciation of the ocean and all those enjoyable ocean related activities such as surfing, snorkeling, and SCUBA diving. He and his family also have some sturdy land legs as well and enjoy myriad adventures going snowboarding and camping and playing sports like tennis and golf.
Glenn Hermans , Consumer Advisor Glenn Hermans is a greatly appreciated member of the Transfer Smart family; always a consummate professional and a quick wit. He comes to us from Upstate New York, his birthplace and hometown for many years. Active in academia and sports in high school, Glenn was a member of the track and tennis teams, co-editor of his high school yearbook and a dynamic participant in the theatre department. In college he pursued a major in Economics, graduating from State University of New York at Oswego with his B.A. Professionally, he's worked for several Fortune 100 companies, including United Airlines and Fidelity, in sales and as an account executive for key accounts. When Glenn isn't on the road, on the phone or on the internet, he's indulging a creative flair for writing and performing music, keeping active in the Southern California sunshine or in the ocean enjoying scuba diving adventures, and setting personal goals to accomplish, like earning his pilot's license.
Ryan and Stephanie Laird, Consumer Advisors Ryan and Stephanie Laird currently live in Idaho with their two beautiful children. When they're not at home, Ryan and Stephanie travel throughout the country, meeting new people and helping countless clients out of their timeshare contracts. Stephanie's career has been a reflection of her values and her favorite jobs have all involved helping people; she has worked at a hospital, waitressed, practiced cosmetology and worked in Network Marketing. With Transfer Smart, both Stephanie and Ryan now provide support and assistance to individuals and families who need advice about what to do with their unwanted timeshares. In Stephanie's words, "I believe that the more people you help the more you succeed." Ryan worked as an insurance agent for eight years dealing mostly in farm and crop insurance. Following this, Ryan started a property management company to safeguard people's investments. Now both Ryan and Stephanie own this company in Idaho -Ryan's home state. Ryan recalls loving growing up in Idaho; working hard in the fields, fishing and enjoying riding his motorcycle and snow machines. Stephanie was born in Billings, Montana and later moved to Southern California. When asked about her fondest memories she recalls her time working with the Special Olympics, skiing with her father in Montana, and all of the wonderful memories that she's had since becoming a mom. Future plans for Ryan and Stephanie include remaining an active part of making their community stronger and someday starting a foundation that will focus on assisting children at risk.
Blueth & Sutan Morgan, Consumer Advisors A gregarious and motivated individual, Sutan Morgan has long known how to play to his strengths and creativity, easily noted by his involvement at a young age in extracurricular activities such as the drama club, high school band, football and basketball, as well graduating from his high school a year earlier than his classmates. His experiences working during high school and paying to attend summer school classes so that he could graduate early heightened his sense of independence and discipline and enabled him to secure a career as a Navigation Officer for the USS Providence SSN 719. Sutan continues to make the most of his ambitious nature in both his professional and personal life especially as an entrepreneur. He currently owns an Independent Auto Sales Company and was the lead singer of a reggae band for seven years that was signed to Motown Records. While working for Transfer Smart as an Consumer Advisor, he spends his time traveling nationwide helping thousands of distressed timeshare owners escape the burdens of timeshare ownership. On one of his many trips, he met his beautiful wife, Blueth Morgan (“Blue" as she's called by many). They met while she was traveling to Phoenix, AZ to complete her Doctoral residency with the University of Phoenix and Sutan was en-route to a seminar to help Timeshare owners. During the flight, Sutan shared his knowledge and expertise about timeshare ownership with Blue (all the while, with no clue or knowledge that she has a timeshare for 15 years). Armed with her new found knowledge, Blue set out to learn the truth about the Timeshare industry and what it truly meant to be a timeshare owner. Being happy with her experience in getting out of her timeshare and even happier in finding true love with Sutan, they married in her island home of Jamaica. A year later, Blue resigned from her lucrative career and joined her husband on their mission to help free timeshare owners from unfair contracts. Blue brings to Transer Smart, many years of experience in the financial industry as a former business analyst and information technology development manager for financial services conglomerates such as MetLife and Fidelity Investments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration (both from the University of Massachusetts) and a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership (ABD - University of Phoenix). Blue & Sutan are the proud parents of 1 girl and 4 boys. They enjoy spending time with their family and playing basketball and tennis. Together, Blue and Sutan is a great timeshare story with a Happy Ending.
Patricia Thomas, Consumer Advisor Patricia Thomas comes to us with the same passion for helping others as her sister Linda Skidmore. She has the unique perspective of having been the daughter who talked her mom into keeping one of her timeshares and it’s $6,000.00 consequence! With this experience, Patricia understands the urgency to share her story with others and help them dispose of their liability. Professionally, Patricia graduated from Northwestern University Dental School with a Bachelors Degree in Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for more than 20 years in Chicago, IL. She is married to her husband Jim and has two grown children. Amy her daughter is also a Registered Dental Hygienist practicing in the Chicago area, and her son Tim has served our country for 10 years in the U.S. Army. Having participated in the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University classes, Patricia desires to show other’s the peace one can feel when we become the stewards of the money God has blessed us with.
Kyle and Tam Eggert, Consumer Advisors Kyle and Tam Eggert are honest and hard-working Midwesterners who have enjoyed their 10 years of marriage and blended family of four children in the suburbs of Indianapolis, Indiana. Kyle was born and raised in the heart of Speedway, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis 500. He is also a proud graduate of Butler University where he played four years of varsity basketball. He spent many years as a group publisher for Penton Media and uses that professional experience to help families get out of their forever binding timeshare contracts. Tam attended Ball State University. Her life can be defined by two words: family and service. Not only did Tam spend eight years at home with their children, she served as Chairperson of the local PTO in charge of Family Events. Being involved in their kids’ education has instilled a passion in Tam to educate others as it relates to their timeshare ownership. She understands the sacrifices parents make for their children and wants to help families from passing on these forever fees to the next generation.
Ed Peterson, Consumer Advisor Ed Peterson has spent over four working to get families out of the dangerous contracts of timeshares. Known for his positive attitude and sense of humor, Ed feels both enthusiastic and passionate about helping families become "timeshare free" through Transfer Smart. He has an outstanding academic record, having studied at Harvard, The University of Utah, and BYU, where he received his MBA. Ed has spent 14 years refining his skills in both sales and marketing. In various industries (energy/transportation, software, and timeshare transfer) Ed has applied his "customer focused" style where listening to the customer is the #1 goal. When Ed isn't on the road with Transfer Smart he's most likely at home with his young family -- wife Candace, daughter Isabelle (13), son Tyler (5), and son Elijah (1).
Jed Archibald, Consumer Advisor Born and raised in Utah, Jed Archibald, his wife, Cindy and their three children still reside in his home state. He spent his childhood growing up on a dairy farm, learning the importance of hard work and persistence, lessons he's applied to both his personal and professional life. He attended Utah State University where he earned a B.A. degree in Marketing. A former marathon runner, Jed has participated in an astounding 12 marathons and he continues to enjoy his fitness regimen of working out, lifting weights and running. Before joining Transfer Smart, Jed enjoyed an extremely successful career as an entrepreneur, and nationally recognized businessman. He owned and operated 13 Quizno's restaurants and was awarded the Quizno's National Franchise Owner of the Year in 1999. Jed continues to be a valued member of the Transfer Smart family as a Team Leader for the field seminar representatives, and he is dedicated to helping clients become timeshare free.
Laura Crafton, Consumer Advisor Laura was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised in the Towson area. She is currently an Consumer Advisor with Transfer Smart, a real estate investor, a business owner in the telecommunications industry, and soon to be the writer and publisher of her first children's book. She also loves swing dancing, hanging out with family and friends, and just having fun. In her teens, she worked as a waitress, a cook, and a manager in addition to her studies at Dulaney High School. Having worked extensively in the restaurant business, she enjoys being in a fast paced environment, serving others, and working with a team towards achieving a common goal. In the communications business she enjoyed mentoring others, helping others to grow, and contributing towards their progress and ultimate success. Over the next few years she hopes to start a family and make her dreams a reality. These dreams include publishing her first children's book, traveling the world, raising a family, and taking care of her parents. In her role at Transfer Smart she is dedicated to helping people escape their timeshare contracts, and considers herself extremely blessed to be in a position to do so.
Wayne Williams, Consumer Advisor Comfortably settled in his home state of North Carolina, Wayne Williams is committed to making a difference in his world and the world around him. His interest in personal development has complimented his mixed martial arts studies and helped to enhance his tendencies toward hard work, self discipline, and physical and mental health. Already aware of the benefits of jumping in and making his hands work for him; he's worked in the construction industry since high school, in a variety of roles, from building to managing and ultimately owning a construction company. A recently discovered passion is buying houses, fixing them up and reselling them, an interest which also sent him back to school to earn his brokerage license. And all that is just in his spare time. This devoted father of two currently spends time either on the phone, on the internet, or traveling around the country with Transfer Smart dedicated to helping people get out of their burdensome timeshare contracts. With his appreciation of real estate businesses and his lengthy history of working in construction, he also has taken on a role as a consultant with the Accelerated Capital Group; a company that helps to develop raw land for both commercial and residential purposes.
Before coming to Transfer Smart, Mark Reinschreiber spent 17 years as a producer for KABC, Channel 7 in Los Angeles, Prime Ticket Television, Prime Sports, and Fox Sports. He produced hockey for the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks, and baseball for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for the final 7 years. In 2004, he won an Emmy award for Angels baseball. Mark has 5 years experience as a consultant helping to relieve tens of thousands of families from their timeshare liabilities. Mark is ready to aid Transfer Smart by helping relieve timeshare owners of their contracts. He is engaged to be married to Christine Perrone and will be the proud step-father of her daughter Tara. When he isn’t on the road, Mark enjoys outdoor sports and a passion for charity work and donations, including St. Jude Hospital, the Red Cross, and the Ventura County Rescue Mission.

Phyllis Eggert - Consumer Advisor Phyllis Eggert joined Transfer Smart in January 2008 and has made helping people a focus of her life. A Colorado native, Phyllis was born in a small, friendly farm town where everyone knew each other. Phyllis has a degree in business and owned and ran her own company in Colorado for over 20 years with great success. As a former timeshare owner, Phyllis now wants to help distressed timeshare owners find a way out of their timeshare. Always a people person, Phyllis enjoys meeting new people and helping in whatever way she can. When not traveling with Transfer Smart, Phyllis enjoys hiking and spending time with her four children and four wonderful granddaughters.
Ruben Jaimes, Consumer Advisor Ruben Jaimes is a creative and accomplished member of the Transfer Smart Team. Before joining forces with Transfer Smart, he explored a career in Property Management and Real Estate. He has been in the service industry for over 15 years. He has an entrepreneurial spirit that led him to explore various business opportunities including working as a business owner of a bakery cafe located in beautiful San Diego, CA. Ruben is a Native American Indian born in Los Angeles, who was raised in West Covina, CA and then later moved to San Diego, CA. He enjoys his role at Transfer Smart helping families around the country get out of their timeshares, bettering their financial position and family’s future. He is grateful to be able to see the country while helping people get out of these bad contracts. The most important thing to Ruben is spending time with his family, friends and wonderful children. He is blessed to have three beautiful children, a loving girlfriend and her two children and for this he is thankful everyday. |
